The 29th EFFoST International Conference will be held in Athens, Greece from 10-12 November 2015 under the theme: “Food Science Research and Innovation: Delivering sustainable solutions to the global economy and society.” The conference will be organized by the National Technical University of Athens on behalf of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST). The audience will be researchers, scientists, engineers, policy makers, professionals and students from food industry and research institutions.
Following the EFFoST conference, the International Nonthermal Processing Workshop will proceed from 12-13 November 2015 with the topic “Sustainable Innovation Based on Science and Applied Research of Nonthermal Technologies.” Robin Ostermeier will represent ELEA with his presentation on the “Influence of PEF (Pulsed Electric Fields) on sweet potato processing” in Friday’s session about “nonthermal technologies applications in markets: the industry and equipment manufacturer’s perspective”.
